  1. Jio Financial Services (JFSL) reported a consolidated net profit of ₹269 crore for the third quarter of the financial year 2025-26 (Q3 FY26).
  2. This figure represents an 8.75% year-on-year (YoY) decline compared to the ₹294.78 crore profit recorded in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year. Despite the dip in net profit, the company experienced a significant surge in total income, which more than doubled to ₹901 crore in Q3 FY26 from ₹449 crore a year ago.
  3. Revenue from operations also saw a substantial increase, rising by over 105% to ₹900.90 crore from ₹438.4 crore in the year-ago period.
  4. The growth in income was largely driven by the strong performance of its core businesses. The lending vertical, for instance, saw its assets under management (AUM) jump 4.5 times YoY and 29% sequentially to ₹19,049 crore.
  5. Gross disbursements in the lending business nearly doubled to ₹8,615 crore in Q3 FY26. Net interest income from the lending business surged by 166% YoY to ₹165 crore.
  6. Other segments like Jio Payment Solutions and Jio Payments Bank also contributed to the income growth. Jio Payment Solutions witnessed a 10x YoY growth in its total income to ₹61 crore, while Jio Payments Bank saw its total deposits increase by 94% YoY.
  7. The asset management business also showed steady traction, with its AUM standing at ₹14,972 crore across 10 mutual fund schemes. The decline in net profit despite strong income growth was primarily attributed to a sharp increase in total expenses, particularly finance costs, which surged to ₹566 crore in Q3 FY26 from ₹131 crore in the same quarter last year.
